Don’t Think. Just DO.

I was talking to a group of young people recently about their Christian walk and service. Some of them gave reasons/excuses why they couldn’t execute or attend to certain exercises – and I found myself saying, “Don’t Think. Just Do.”

I told them severally to repeat after me, “Don’t Think. Just Do.” (I know some of them rolled their eyes, but I didn’t “send”.😏)…

Godly Wisdom vs Devilish Wisdom

Believers say it all the time: “Wisdom is profitable to direct.” However,

*Wisdom that makes you lie – for any reason – is not godly.
*Wisdom that makes you inflate figures is not godly.
*Wisdom that makes you falsify age, dates or achievements is not godly.
*Wisdom that causes envy and strife among the people you interact with is not godly.
*“Divide-and-rule” leadership is not godly wisdom…

WHEN GOD IS YOUR BOSS

It is easier to work for man than to work for God. Much easier – and I’m not talking about Christian service.

I’m talking about your “secular,” everyday, nine-to-five job or business…

YOU ARE NOT INDISPENSABLE.

His name was Richard, and he was powerfully used by God in signs, wonders, and miracles. He worked with another man of God, RB, who really owned the ministry. However, because RB recognized the gifts and grace on Richard, he would preach during meetings, then step down for Richard to take over.

Then it happened…

Introvert. Perfectionist. Sanguine. Writer. Melancholic. Preacher.

Labels. I understand them, but I dislike them – and I’m not just talking about the negative ones.

Some years ago, I was being interviewed for a job, and the interviewer asked about my personality type…

You don’t need more spiritual power. Or fire.
You need more tarrying capacity: The ability to stay in his presence until you are “endued with power” – and fire naturally falls.

You don’t need more money.
You need more earning and learning capacity. (Click on the image to read more.)

Growing up, we used to attend a certain church. It wasn’t as large as it is now, but it was still quite known globally – to an extent.

A family member was a major leader there, and was very close to the Head pastor.

Then stuff happened. Politics, lies, manipulation came in and the family member left.

My parents who were leaders in the church were also unfairly stripped of their positions, simply because of their connection and personal convictions.

A young lad was brought to stay with us. His English was really bad. He could barely hear or speak the language.

When I spoke to him, I tried to speak slowly and in broken (Nigerian pidgin English) so he could understand me.

I started, “Wetin be your…?”

Immediately, my mum interrupted me sharply. “No.”
