At one time in my life, when I was much younger, I believed that every man indulged in pornography to some extent. I also believed that it was normal for men to cheat. It was just in their make-up.
Mind you, I was a Bible-believing, water-baptised, tongue-talking, demon-chasing Christian – but I had bought into a demonic cultural and societal narrative that had been carefully orchestrated by Satan himself…
Ask any Christian – and they’ll reel off the drill needed for spiritual victory: Pray. Read the Word. Meditate. Fast. Pray in the Spirit…and so on.
However, you can do all this – and still be a spiritual weakling.

I’m also talking about blind eyes opening. Deaf ears popping. The dead coming back to life. Fibroids disappearing. Limbs growing out.
Those types of miracles…
I was in my first year in junior secondary school. It was a boarding school. My parents had decided to send me and my sisters to a popular girls’ school in our homestate for ‘exposure.’
At that time, my parents were conservative Christians, and the church we attended was word-based – but quite conservative. Even though they believed in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit, these were not really exhibited – like they were in other pentecostal churches.
So, I got a new Bible at the beginning of the year.
I had heard someone talk about how he started every year with a new Bible, and decided to try it – but I was too much in love with my eight-year-old one, so I kept postponing it.
“Come to the edge,” He said.
“We can’t, we’re afraid!” they responded.
“Come to the edge,” He said.
“We can’t, we will fall!” they responded.
“Come to the edge,” He said.
And so they came.
And He pushed them…
And they flew.

Get ready.
We are in a time and season where God is going to ask you to do things that will take you beyond your comfort zone – way, way, way beyond your comfort zone.
I’m glad this series has come to an end.
Even though I knew God wanted me to write on it, it has been quite draining and exhausting. At one point, as I was praying and writing the post on How To Become And Stay Sexually Pure (1), I inexplicably burst into tears because I just had a sudden overpowering feeling that someone desperately needed it at that time.
