YOU ARE NOT INDISPENSABLE.

His name was Richard, and he was powerfully used by God in signs, wonders, and miracles. He worked with another man of God, RB, who really owned the ministry. However, because RB recognized the gifts and grace on Richard, he would preach during meetings, then step down for Richard to take over.

Then it happened…

Introvert. Perfectionist. Sanguine. Writer. Melancholic. Preacher.

Labels. I understand them, but I dislike them – and I’m not just talking about the negative ones.

Some years ago, I was being interviewed for a job, and the interviewer asked about my personality type…

In my first year in the university, I got baptised in the Holy Spirit – and I fell in love with God. Obsessively. I didn’t want anything to come between us.

I loved music and used to be in the choir, and when it was time for special numbers, we would sometimes go out to sing – me included.
There was a certain girl in my group who would just watch. Reserved.

It’s strange how the enemy skews our perspective; how he makes the insignificant become our focus – instead of the bigger picture:

When God wants to promote or increase you in a certain area, He brings you into knowledge – usually through people who have some ‘higher’ knowledge in that subject.

Now, it’s easy to be humble when you are totally ignorant or clueless.

However, when you also have some measure of success or knowledge, it can be extremely difficult to ‘stoop’ to learn from another.

THE FENCE

Todd White shared the following true life story:

An atheist had a dream one night. He saw a long fence going on infinitely.

On one side of the fence was Jesus, the hosts of Heaven and angels.
On the other side of the fence was the devil, demons and the hosts of hell.

Is The Bible Truly Enough?

About three or four years ago, I assisted in working on a religious thesis. The project took me on a research of many religions of the world, and it was eye-opening to study their origins. Some of these psuedo-religions were blatantly anti-Christ and anti-God, but others were more subtle.

The most fascinating for me were those that seemingly had their origins in Christianity or ‘Christian’ experiences, but later deviated into error…
