DEALING WITH THE SPIRIT OF FEAR (Reblog)

I was in my first year in junior secondary school. It was a boarding school. My parents had decided to send me and my sisters to a popular girls’ school in our homestate for ‘exposure.’ At that time, my parents were conservative Christians, and the church we attended was word-based – but quite conservative. EvenContinue reading “DEALING WITH THE SPIRIT OF FEAR (Reblog)”

When Sexual Desires Are Not Normal…

First. One of the greatest weapons every Christian needs in this end time is discernment – not just between good and evil, but also of motives and spirits behind people, actions and situations.

Second. One of the easiest ways the enemy weakens Christians is through sexual impurity of the soul and body. Even if they don’t physically indulge, he will make sure their souls and minds are so polluted, they become weak and powerless.

To make it even more deceptive, just like Eve and the fruit, he will mix truth with lies and tell you, “Sexual desires are normal.”

Yes, they are normal – but are the ones YOU are experiencing normal?…

What Is Draining Your Spiritual Power?

I recently listened to a message by Minister Lawrence Oyor.

He told how the late Apostle Ayo Babalola once shared about a certain minister who was mightily used by God and extremely spiritually powerful. He was so powerful that, anytime villages or communities heard he was coming around/to the area, they would bring out people who had been dead for days and even weeks – and he would raise them up from the dead in their various stages of decay…

SLEEP AND SPIRITUAL WARFARE

A few weeks ago, I started to feel physically exhausted and sleepy. I knew I had been very busy, so I initially shrugged it off. I would lie down, then sleep off immediately. I am a very light sleeper, but these times, I would sleep deeply. I thought it was mental exhaustion from work and certain situations.

However, I started getting concerned when I started to feel sleepy during church service. That was really weird…

ANGER, OFFENCES, AND SPIRITUAL WARFARE

I once worked in an organization. I and my colleague had a high-end potential client we desperately wanted to convert into an actual one. His contract would run into the millions, and commissions would be huge.

We made calls. We made presentations. We spoke to the heads. We spoke to him. We prayed. We fasted – and I could see all the visible signs that we would get the contract. We had one final presentation – and the bag would be secured. We were so, so ready.

Then about two days before the presentation, my colleague and I had a blowout. A huge, massive, gigantic, spittle-flying, words-shooting blow-up…

Growing up, we used to attend a certain church. It wasn’t as large as it is now, but it was still quite known globally – to an extent.

A family member was a major leader there, and was very close to the Head pastor.

Then stuff happened. Politics, lies, manipulation came in and the family member left.

My parents who were leaders in the church were also unfairly stripped of their positions, simply because of their connection and personal convictions.

Ask any Christian – and they’ll reel off the drill needed for spiritual victory: Pray. Read the Word. Meditate. Fast. Pray in the Spirit…and so on.

However, you can do all this – and still be a spiritual weakling.

Kenneth Copeland shared how his wife, Gloria, had been asking God to teach her how to fully and more powerfully operate in the spirit.

Years ago, I was preparing to take the usual Sunday school class at church. The topic for that week was “The Whole Armour Of God”. It was/is a familiar topic – and I was ready to teach, raring to go. The scripture passage, of course, was taken from the popular Ephesians 6:11-18.

As was the usual practice, I was having my personal study at home before leaving for the general review at church when, suddenly, it was as if a veil was torn away – and I saw myself in the Spirit:

I was naked – having only the helmet of salvation on…
