It’s strange how the enemy skews our perspective.

It’s strange how he makes the insignificant become our focus – instead of the bigger picture:

+ He makes us reluctant to openly profess Christ – in a world of eight billion people – because we are very conscious of twenty members of our family or inner circle. Or even ONE certain individual.

+ He makes us lose sight of the gazillion-quantrillion years we would spend with God in eternity.

Instead, he deceives us into ignoring our callings and the race set before us, and puts us on a hamster wheel to run the rat-race for 70-120 years – so that when we step into endless eternity, we will realize that we misused eternity’s resources for a blip in the radar.

+ He convinces us to be “politically correct” so we don’t seem “off” to an influential few.

He doesn’t allow us realize that there are hundreds of thousands of souls who would be influenced by a singular bold decision to stand for truth and righteousness.

Maybe it’s because I’m getting older – who isn’t? – but apart from the chronological and biological changes, my perspectives about many things are changing.

Especially spiritual things.

I’m getting more conscious of how we humans are so fixated on a tiny radius of time, people and circumstances, that we miss the bigger picture.

I’m tending to view many things from the larger perspective of eternity…and you know what?

I love it.
