Just thought to drop this here for someone.
Last weekend, I had issues with the wiring in my bedroom. I needed an electrician, but when I searched through my phone for the number of the one who had worked on the flat when I first moved into it, I realised I no longer had it.
So, I prayed about it, telling God I desperately needed an electrician, then I called the person who had referred him to ask for his number. However, he also no longer had it – it had been two years. He tried to refer another person to me, but the guy was busy on a job out of town or so.
That night, I had to make do without the light.
The next morning, I just got up as usual, had my quiet time, just committed the situation into God’s hand again, and just decided to go out of the house even though it was rather early…
…and my electrician just drove by on his bike.
I didn’t even see him – he was the one who called out a greeting to me.

I was stunned when I looked up and saw him. I had to hurriedly stop him, and collected his number – and he came by later to work on the light.
What blew me away – and which I knew God wanted me to learn – was the simplicity of the whole process.
That hadn’t even been his usual route.
I’m sharing this little story because I feel that God is saying to someone, “I’m your Father.
I’ve got this.
Trust me.
Stop overthinking things – or worrying too much.
I’ve got you covered.”
If that’s you, relax. Leave the process and the ‘how’ to God. He knows exactly what you need even before the need arose – and He’s got you sorted.
Just commit it into His hands. Then just ‘step out.’
Your steps are ordered by God.
I love that this your article is short yet teaching. May I always remember that the Lord lives me dearly.
